The Salvation Army of Central Indiana Harbor Light Center Information

The Salvation Army believes that, as man is body, soul, and spirit, a spiritual avenue in rehabilitation is as necessary as a psychological, medical, and physical approach. The aim of The Salvation Army Harbor Light Center program is to provide quality spiritual, physical, mental, and social rehabilitation to all who accept this specialized help.

Through management practices and staff development activities, The Salvation Army Harbor Light Center strives to provide services that are consumer and family-focused, strengths and evidence-based, individualized, culturally competent, outcome-based, cost-efficient, and the least restrictive.

The services of The Salvation Army Harbor Light Center are available to all persons in need who come seeking help, regardless of race, gender, sexual preference, age, religion, ethnicity, or disability. The program’s primary service area is Central Indiana, though admissions are regularly made from anywhere in the State.

Individuals who meet the admission criteria of the respective treatment, and who appear motivated for treatment, will be accepted into the appropriate level of care. The Salvation Army Harbor Light Center program shall collaborate with other community providers in the human service system in order to meet the needs of the individual and to be responsive to the community.
