Traverse City Teen Angel Kettle Kickoff
About the event
The Salvation Army of Traverse City in partnership with Rock 105 & 95.5 The Real Rock Station / Bear 98.1 – 95.3 – 95.1 The Classic Rock Station invites you to join us for a fun and competitive Teen Angel Kettle Kickoff FUNdraiser!
The Salvation Army of Traverse City will have two kettles for football fans to fill with donations: one for University of Michigan and one for Michigan State University. The goal is to raise at least $2,000.
All donations will be generously matched, dollar for dollar, up to $1,000 per kettle, thanks to Bill and Debbie Marsh, Jr. and Sharon Koenig.
Cartman and Guy Dark will battle Major Alan Hellstrom and Sue Brown at these kettles to see which football team has the most “loyal and generous” fans. Funds raised benefit to the vital Teen Angel Program which provides Christmas gifts and gift cards for local teens in need ages 13-17.
The winning team that raises the most money will be announced on Monday Nov. 9 by Cartman in the Morning on Rock 105 & 95.5. The Golden Kettle will go to the winning team and will be displayed at The Salvation Army Traverse City Corps Community Center until next year’s rival game.
The Salvation Army of Traverse City assists approximately 200 local teens annually.
