You’re Invited to Soup Day 2026!

The Salvation Army Downriver, with generous support from The Grecian Center of Southgate, is proud to host its annual Soup Day on Wednesday, March 11, 2026, in the beautiful ballrooms of the Grecian Center on Dix/Toledo Road.

This beloved community event brings neighbors together for a great cause — and 100% of the proceeds directly support local feeding programs serving families in the Downriver community.

Calling All Restaurants & Caterers 

If you’re in the restaurant or catering business, we invite you to help us fight hunger by showcasing your signature soups at this meaningful event.

We provide:

• Spoons

• Tables

• Paper products, napkins, bowls

• Table skirting

You provide:

• Chafing dishes

• Electrical cords

• Serving staff

• Signage to identify your business

You’re also encouraged to share business cards, menus and promotional materials with attendees.

Set-up begins at 9:00 a.m. in the banquet rooms.

Please confirm your participation by Wednesday, February 25. The sooner you register, the sooner your business will be promoted through The News Herald and other media outlets.
