This Christmas, your generosity can go twice as far! The Salvation Army of Metro Detroit invites the community to join its annual Consortium of Hope matching gift challenge, beginning Friday, Dec. 11, at midnight and continuing through Thursday, Dec. 31, at 11:59 p.m.

Thanks to the generosity of the Consortium of Hope — a dedicated group of community-minded leaders and businesses — donations made to The Salvation Army of Metro Detroit during the challenge will be matched, dollar for dollar.

That means a $25 gift becomes $50, a $100 donation becomes $200, and a $500 contribution becomes $1,000 — doubling the hope and help available to neighbors in need.

Every donation helps provide nourishment, shelter, warmth and essential services to thousands of individuals and families throughout Wayne, Oakland and Macomb counties, not just during the holidays, but all year long.
