The Salvation Army, Awakening Foundation, and Altrua HealthShare Celebrate $1 Million Milestone in Support of Communities Nationwide

Alexandria, VA, May 30, 2025 - The Salvation Army is proud to announce a significant milestone in its ongoing partnership with Awakening Foundation and Altrua HealthShare: $1 million donated to support critical services for families across the country.

Since 2019, the Awakening Foundation has partnered with The Salvation Army to support local communities at concert stops nationwide. At each stop, donations were made – thanks to Awakening’s performing artists, K-LOVE, and Altrua HealthShare – to help fund vital Salvation Army programs including meals, shelter, veteran support, youth enrichment, rehabilitation, and more.

K-LOVE, a leading Christian radio network and trusted voice in faith-based media, has played a pivotal role in this partnership. Through its broad national reach, K-LOVE has helped amplify the campaign’s impact while inspiring generosity and engagement from listeners across the country.

This milestone was commemorated with a special on-stage check presentation during TobyMac’s May 7 concert at Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, Colorado. Surrounded by thousands of fans and the stunning natural beauty of the venue, the moment symbolized more than just a dollar amount—it represented a shared commitment to compassion, generosity, and uplifting those in need.
