Youth & Young Adults Invited to Bible Conference 2026
By Kristin Mudge /

Bible Conference 2026 is just around the corner! From August 9-15, Salvationists from around the Southern Territory will gather in beautiful Lake Junaluska, North Carolina for a time of biblical teaching, spiritual growth, worship, and fellowship.
This tradition, spanning nearly 75 years, keeps Salvationist soldiers and leaders of the Southern Territory firmly rooted in scripture as we continue to serve in our communities throughout the rest of the year.
This time of intentional study of God’s Word is not only meant for adults, but also for the children and young people who are both the current members and future leaders of The Salvation Army.
The annual Youth Conference and Childcare programs, held alongside Bible Conference, serve to lay a firm biblical foundation in the hearts and minds of attendees, as well as providing plenty of opportunity for fun and fellowship with other young Salvationists from ages 0-17. This year’s program will focus on equipping the next generation to lead with steadfast faith and will conclude August 15 with the annual youth showcase.
“I wish I was young enough to attend the Youth Conference classes,” Major Matt Satterlee, territorial youth secretary, tells us. “The staff, the Bible classes, the friends, the weather, the activities, all of these are awesome. The Youth Conference is a time of intentional discipleship and growth in holiness for our young people. From the babies to young adults, we lead them to Jesus and pray for a radical faith in them, all while having fun and providing a place of community and belonging.”
Additional events for ages 18-35 will provide time for young adult delegates to delve even deeper into the Word in a more intimate setting while building relationships with fellow young people from across the territory.
