The Salvation Army of Goshen Seeks Community Support Ahead of Pancake Day

As The Salvation Army of Goshen prepares for its highly anticipated annual Pancake Day on April 24, organizers are calling on the community for additional support as the event is currently $25,800 short of its fundraising goal of $70,000.
“We are looking forward to another incredible Pancake Day, but we need our community now more than ever,” said Lt. Aurelia Welch. “At this point, we are still significantly short of our goal, and we are asking businesses and individuals to step in through sponsorships or by simply coming out and participating in the event.” The Salvation Army Goshen is actively seeking:

Every ticket purchased and every sponsorship secured helps ensure The Salvation Army can continue meeting the growing needs in the community. “This event is not just about pancakes—it’s about people,” Lt. Welch added. “It’s about making sure families have food on the table, kids have a safe place to grow, and no one feels forgotten.” Community members interested in sponsoring, placing large orders, or purchasing tickets are encouraged to act now and be part of a tradition that changes lives. Together, we can reach our goal and continue doing the most good. Pancake Day is April 24, 2026.
