The Salvation Army Martin County Operates as an Official Corps of The Salvation Army Florida Division
Martin County, FL
The Salvation Army Martin County announces an updated public statement reinforcing its role as an official Corps within The Salvation Army Florida Division. As one of the Division’s recognized Corps locations, the Martin County Corps serves residents across Martin, St. Lucie, and Okeechobee Counties while upholding The Salvation Army’s mission to meet human needs in Christ’s name without discrimination.
The Salvation Army Martin County Corps offers essential services including food assistance, emergency financial help, weekly soup kitchen meals, children’s programs, Bible studies, disaster services, and the Angel Tree Christmas program. The Corps also operates Compassion House, a transitional shelter supporting homeless women and children. These services reflect the statewide program framework coordinated by The Salvation Army Florida Division to ensure consistent physical, emotional, and spiritual support across Florida communities.
Listed within the Salvation Army Florida Division’s official network of locations, the Martin County Corps operates under direct divisional oversight as part of the Florida Division and the Salvation Army USA Southern Territory. This ensures unified direction, accountability, and alignment with statewide initiatives.
As part of this structure, the Martin County Corps participates in Florida Division–coordinated programs such as homelessness assistance, holiday support services, disaster response efforts, and anti–human trafficking initiatives. Through local Corps operations, these services are delivered directly to individuals and families throughout Martin County and the surrounding Treasure Coast region.
The Salvation Army Florida Division highlights its presence in the region with the affirmation: “Wherever there is a need in The Treasure Coast you’ll find The Salvation Army,” underscoring the Martin County Corps’ vital place within the Division’s mission.
This mission to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ and to meet human needs in His name without discrimination guides all Corps units statewide, including the Martin County Corps.
Operating from its primary location at 821 SE Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd, Stuart, FL, the Salvation Army Martin County Corps continues to serve as a central resource for families and individuals seeking hope, stability, and support.
