The Salvation Army of Goshen is pleased to announce the final results of its Annual Pancake Day fundraiser, with the event raising an impressive $67,251.31 toward its goal of $70,000.

While falling just short of the fundraising target, we are celebrating what we consider a tremendous success, achieving more than 96% of our goal. We are incredibly thankful for the continued support of our community in Goshen and throughout Southern Elkhart County.

"Every pancake served, every volunteer hour given, and every dollar donated helps us continue serving individuals and families throughout our community. The generosity displayed during Pancake Day reminds us of what can be accomplished when people come together for a common purpose."

Funds raised through Pancake Day will help support The Salvation Army's ongoing programs and services, including assistance for individuals and families facing hardship, youth programs, seasonal assistance, and other community outreach efforts.

The Salvation Army extends its sincere thanks to everyone who attended, volunteered, sponsored, donated, and helped make this year's event possible.

The Salvation Army would also like to extend special recognition and gratitude to the many organizations, businesses, and volunteers whose dedication makes Pancake Day possible each year. We are especially thankful for the support of The Exchange Club, Noon Kiwanis, Maple City Kiwanis, Rotary, Nuway Construction, Everence Financial, Faith Christian Center Ministries, and the Elkhart County Emergency Management Agency (EMA). Their partnership, along with the countless individual volunteers who generously give their time and talents, helps ensure the success of this beloved community tradition. Pancake Day is truly a community effort, and we are grateful for everyone who comes alongside us to serve our neighbors.

While Pancake Day has come to a close, The Salvation Army is already preparing for its 2nd Annual Back-to-School Bash, an initiative designed to help local children start the school year with confidence and the supplies they need to succeed.

Individuals, businesses, and community groups interested in sponsoring a child's successful start to the school year or learning more about the program are encouraged to contact Lieutenant Aurelia Welch at 574-533-9584.
