Sign ups for Salvation Army back to school give away now open

JACKSON COUNTY, Ore. – Salvation Army Jackson County is getting ready to help the county ahead of the new school year. The nonprofit organization is giving away backpacks to kids in grades K-12.

To get a free backpack, families must sign up their child by calling the Salvation Army at 541-773-6965.

To donate to the backpack giveaway, you can drop it off at the Salvation Army office, thrift store locations or at local Fred Meyers.
