‘Sew’ Much to See at The Salvation Army’s Fall Fabric Fair
PITTSBURGH (August 20, 2026) – There is “sew” much to discover at The Salvation Army’s Fall Fabric Fair on Saturday, October 3, 2026! Made possible thanks to members of The Salvation Army Greater Pittsburgh Women’s Auxiliary, the popular one-day sale will run from 8:30 a.m. – 1 :30 p.m. at The Salvation Army Pittsburgh Temple Worship and Service Center, located at 1060 McNeilly Road.
Since its inception, the fabric fairs have raised more than $1 million dollars, with all proceeds providing critical assistance to individuals and families throughout Allegheny County, Pennsylvania. Early shoppers will find “unbe-leaf-able” deals on rare fabrics, unique patterns and a variety of materials and equipment for crocheting, knitting, quilting and more. After exploring the inventory indoors, shoppers can enjoy a $10 bag sale outside, which will be stocked with a variety of materials.
“For more than three decades, these fabric fairs have become popular events for crafters of all ages,” said Major Marika Payton, General Secretary/Allegheny County Coordinator for The Salvation Army. “Items donated and sold at these fairs have directly translated into funds for food, shelter and support for our neighbors in need across Allegheny County. It is such an honor to be part of this powerful ministry. Let’s work together to raise another million dollars!”
