The India Central Territory had the privilege of hosting Lieut. Colonel Lallinakunga, Secretary for Programme, India National Office, during his territorial visit from 13th to 15th April 2026. I express my sincere gratitude to the territorial leadership and my line manager for entrusting me with the opportunity to accompany him throughout this meaningful assignment.

Lt. Colonel Lallinakunga began his visit in Chennai, where he met with the territorial leaders and later spent time at a Salvation Army English-Medium School. His interaction with the teachers and guidance to the correspondent on the School Compliance Checklist provided valuable clarity on maintaining quality standards and strengthening accountability within educational ministries.

The visit continued with a journey to Bapatla, where he spent time at the Tissot Boys Hostel. His warm interaction with the children and words of encouragement left a deep impact, inspiring them to pursue their goals with confidence. He also met with the officer in charge to review the Institutional Compliance Checklist, emphasising the importance of proper maintenance, documentation, and child‑care standards.

Later in the afternoon, Lieut. Colonel Lallinakunga visited EBH Nidubrolu, where he addressed the nursing students with a motivational message focused on their future roles in healthcare. He toured the hospital campus and offered detailed explanations on the Hospital Compliance Checklist, outlining the essential requirements for operating a compliant, safe, and effective healthcare institution in India.

The visit concluded with an exit meeting at Territorial Headquarters, attended by sectional heads, the editor, social secretary, education secretary, and the PRS & IT coordinator. During this session, Lieut. Colonel Lallinakunga presented a comprehensive overview of compliance expectations for institutions, hospitals, and the upcoming website being developed for the Indian territories. His insights provided clear direction for strengthening governance, improving systems, and enhancing the overall mission effectiveness of the territory.
