Divisional partnerships are significant for strengthening the mission of The Salvation Army and effectively implementing ministry goals. Such collaboration involves not only the sharing of resources but also the exchange of experience, vision, and prayer support. It reflects the unity of the Church in action and ultimately serves to reveal God’s love in people’s lives in practical, transformative ways.

In recent years, a particularly strong and fruitful partnership has been established between the Florida Division and the country of Georgia. This relationship has become a solid foundation for implementing many important programs and initiatives that might not have been possible without such support. Beyond financial assistance, this partnership shows how united efforts can have a profound impact not only on individual lives but also on community development.

One of the most meaningful highlights of this collaboration so far was the celebration of The Salvation Army’s 30th anniversary in Georgia. This three-day event was not merely a reflection on history, but a deeply meaningful time filled with gratitude and hope. It highlighted the results and transformation brought about through three decades of faithful ministry. The celebration included a series of testimonial videos where Salvationists shared heartfelt stories of how God transformed their lives through the Army’s ministry. These testimonies powerfully demonstrated that ministry is not limited to social assistance; it is about inner renewal, restored hope in God, and lasting life change.

Another significant initiative made possible through this partnership was the charity dinner, aimed at recognizing and honoring local donors for their faithful contributions. This special evening created an atmosphere of appreciation and unity, bringing together supporters and community members. It was not only an expression of gratitude, but also an opportunity to strengthen relationships and inspire continued generosity toward the mission of The Salvation Army.

Special attention has also been given to strengthening women’s ministries, recognizing its vital role in the life of the Church. For this purpose, two spiritual retreats were organized with more than 200 women participating. These gatherings brought powerful moments of renewal, encouragement, and spiritual growth. Participants had the opportunity to hear the Word of God, engage in worship, and share personal testimonies and experiences. Such events affirm the importance of women’s ministries as a cornerstone of community transformation, as women often serve as spiritual pillars within families and churches.

Also within the framework of this partnership, the division conducted five-day youth leadership development seminars. These seminars focused on equipping young people with a deeper understanding of surrendering to God’s will, developing leadership skills, and embracing the call to serve others. Today, many of these young soldiers and leaders are actively serving in the corps as leaders in youth and children’s ministries. Their dedication and passion clearly demonstrate that investing in the next generation produces lasting fruit, as God continues to use them to reach many hearts with His Word.

The country of Georgia is deeply grateful for this fruitful partnership and firmly believes that much work still lies ahead. One of our most important prayer requests currently is the acquisition of a camp property for the division. Such a space would provide a dedicated environment for summer camps, leadership training programs, worship gatherings, and many other activities. It would become a place where people of all ages can encounter God, deepen their faith, and grow spiritually.

We believe that these initiatives are laying a strong and lasting foundation for future generations, generations who will faithfully serve and build up the Kingdom of God. The partnership we already share gives us hope and confidence that through faith, greater things can be accomplished, and countless more lives can be transformed by the love and grace of God.
