The Salvation Army is a Church, FIRST!!!

Our mission is to save souls, grow saints, and serve suffering humanity in the heart of Flint. We are located in downtown Flint (near the weather ball) and serve all of Genesee County. It is our continuing desire to help make our community a better place by helping individuals grow in every area of life through a holistic ministry.

Sunday Morning Worship Service (11:00 a.m. ~ 12:15 p.m.) With a vibrant and family-filled brass band, our worship experience is unique and inspirational. Our praise band brings our services together in a way that includes the young and the old, with styles of music that incorporate generations of beloved songs and hymns. Our team of Officers (Pastors) are dedicated in their studies for the purpose of properly teaching and discipling each person into a place of spiritual health.

Jr. Church – (During Worship Service) Our youth services are geared to teach and equip children to take ownership of their faith and lifestyle. By engaging in worship and sound Biblical teachings, our children are able to start making decisions to develop a healthy relationship with God.

Sunday School Gathering (9:30) and Classes (10:00) for all ages.

We start our Sundays with a Sunday School gathering for all ages before breaking into classes for deeper diving into God’s Word, led by teachers who are committed to their students and who help to explain the Bible and how to apply it to daily life.
