Divisional Information Technology Manager II - Alabama, Louisiana, Mississippi Division (Jackson, MS)

The Salvation Army, an internationally recognized non-profit, faith-based organization, has a job opening for a Divisional IT Manager II position for the Divisional Headquarters located in Jackson, MS.

This position manages the day-to-day operations and administration of the Information Technology Department; provides technical expertise and manages technical support to the Corps throughout the division in order to maintain an optimal operating level of all computer systems; provides leadership and direction for the IT team; travels throughout the division to survey site locations in order to determine the most appropriate computer equipment and method of installation or to troubleshoot existing system problems. Serves as a technical representative to Territorial Headquarters and outside vendors on behalf of the Corps.

Divisional Emergency Disaster Services Director - Alabama, Louisiana, Mississippi Division (Jackson, MS)

The Salvation Army, an internationally recognized non-profit, faith-based organization, has a job opening for a Divisional Emergency Disaster Services position for the Divisional Headquarters located in Jackson, MS . 

This position plans, directs, coordinates, monitors, and evaluates the provision of disaster services for the ALM Division; establishes and supervises the maintenance of appropriate inventory of supplies and ensures the readiness of all disaster equipment; cultivates and maintains relationships with state emergency management and statewide organizations involved in disaster preparedness, response, and recovery; responds to disasters in an organized and timely manner by establishing an Incident Command Post and liaisons with local units and the States of Alabama, Louisiana, and Mississippi; assesses the effectiveness of all services during the disaster and keeps the Divisional leadership abreast to the same; prepares reports during and at the end of the disaster project; oversees the recruitment, training, coordination, and monitoring of Officers, employees and volunteers ensuring ample staff to meet program needs; prepares records and reports regarding the same; assists the Divisional Commander as needed.
