National Office Programme Secretary completes three-day ISWT institutional visit
TRIVANDRUM / PUTHENCRUZ — Lieut. Colonel Lalliankunga, Programme Secretary (India National Office), concluded a three-day visit to ISWT institutions from 17–19 April 2026, reviewing compliance readiness, strengthening documentation practices and encouraging improved public engagement through regular Territorial website updates.
During the visit, he inspected services at Evangeline Booth Leprosy & General Hospital (Puthencruz), visited programme centres in Trivandrum, and met territorial leaders and department secretaries for an exit discussion on governance priorities, maintenance planning and coordination among Social, IT and Public Relations functions.
What happened
The visit opened at THQ on 17 April 2026 and continued with a structured compliance verification at Evangeline Booth Leprosy & General Hospital on 18 April 2026, including checks of key facilities such as the pharmacy, laboratory and patient areas.
On 19 April 2026, Lieut. Colonel Lalliankunga attended the Holiness Meeting at Commissioner P. E. George Memorial Church (Trivandrum Central Corps) and later visited the CDC for Boys & Girls (Kowdiar) and the Working Women’s Hostel (Trivandrum), reviewing institutional documentation and operational readiness.

An exit meeting brought together territorial leadership and department representatives, including Colonel Prakash Chandra Pradhan, Territorial Commander, Lieut. Colonel Jacob J. Joseph, Chief Secretary, Lieut. Colonel N. D. Joshua, Programme Secretary, Major Susha Roy, Social Secretary, Mr. Jayaprakash P. D., IT Coordinator, and Lieut. Colonel Lalliankunga.
Meeting participants reviewed observations from the visit and agreed on priority actions, including systematic documentation, preventive maintenance and a coordinated approach to strengthening the territorial web presence.
Lieut. Colonel Jacob J. Joseph expressed thanks at the close of the meeting, which concluded at 18:00.
