Grace & June's Lemon-Aid Stand for Good Returns Saturday, September 5

Quincy, IL – Grace and June Hendrian invite the community to support their annual Lemon-Aid Stand for Good benefiting The Salvation Army Quincy Area Command on Saturday, September 5.

The community-wide fundraiser connects children, families, and local businesses to raise funds supporting The Salvation Army's Family Services programs, which help individuals and families facing hunger, homelessness, and other hardships throughout the region.

Most stands will operate from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Grace and June's stand will be located at Hardy's Radiator on North 12th Street, across from the Illinois Veterans Home entrance.

Since its inception, Lemon-Aid Stand for Good has raised more than $45,000 to help provide food and shelter to neighbors in need.

"What started as a simple lemonade stand has grown into a community-wide effort that shows how young people can make a real difference," said The Salvation Army Development Director, Matt Schmidt. "We're grateful for Grace and June's leadership and for everyone who supports this event year after year."
