Free Pet Vaccine & Microchip Clinic

CLEVELAND, OH — The Cleveland Animal Protective League (APL) is teaming up with The Salvation Army in Greater Cleveland to host a free pet vaccine and microchip clinic on Saturday, September 27th from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at The Salvation Army Temple Corps Community Center located in the Collinwood neighborhood at 17625 Grovewood Avenue, Cleveland, OH 44119.

“We are grateful to the Cleveland APL for allowing us to host these valuable clinics as a service to our local friends and neighbors who have dogs and cats in need. Our belief at The Salvation Army is to provide holistic, wraparound services to the communities we serve, and this includes their pets,” stated Lieutenant Chris Brown, Commanding Corps Officer, The Salvation Army Temple Corps Community Center.

This event is made possible thanks to free vaccines and free microchips provided by Cleveland APL. The clinic will serve pets between 6 months to 6 years old, as these pets are at highest risk and most in need of preventative care.


Vaccines Available (while supplies last):

  • For Dogs: Distemper/Parvo Combo (DAPP), Rabies
  • For Cats: Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis, Calicivirus, Panleukopenia (FVRCP), Rabies
  • Available for both dogs and cats: Microchipping

Important Details:

  • Open to Cleveland residents only
  • Limited to the first 100 pets
  • Pets must be between 6 months to 6 years old
  • Dogs must be leashed; cats must be in carriers
  • First-come, first-served – early arrival recommended
