The Salvation Army of Hammond-Munster prays for Major Steve on is next adventure and blessings for his new marriage

The Salvation Army of Hammond-Munster has been under the leadership of Major Steve Koehler since Autumn 2023 and has been a huge influence to his community. In September of 2024, Major Steve announced his new marriage to Major Charlotte Hall, and will be transferring to Division Headquarters in the Great Lakes Division in Michigan.

With heavy hearts, The Salvation Army Hammond-Munster will be having to bid farewell but prays for his safety, blessings for new beginnings, and that God will guide him on this new journey through life. 

The Salvation Army of Hammond-Munster and its staff, thank him for his service and guidance. 

As of January 2025, Area Commander, Major Chris Marques will be standing in as the present officer for Major Steve and will be resuming his role.
