ELKHART COMMUNITY SCHOOLS AND SALVATION ARMY FOOD DRIVE COLLECTION DAY SET FOR NOVEMBER 25

The Salvation Army of Elkhart, in partnership with Elkhart Community Schools, has been collecting food at all twenty school and administrative buildings in the district through the month of November. On Tuesday, November 25, The Salvation Army will be going to each 
location to collect donated food items. 
Representatives of Elkhart Community Schools and The Salvation Army of Elkhart 
will be holding a special photo opportunity marking the end of the drive and the 
start of the collection process. This event is open to the media, and will be held at 
The Elkhart Academy, located in the Freshman Division building at 8:30 am on 
Tuesday, November 25.
All media outlets are encouraged to cover this event which marks a collaborative 
effort by two local organizations to provide food to the food pantry of the Elkhart 
Salvation Army for community residents facing food insecurity.
