Detroit Lions’ Myles Adams Give Back on Bed and Bread Truck

For Detroit Lions defensive tackle Myles Adams, some of the most meaningful plays happen far from Ford Field. Instead, they take place on Detroit streets, where a warm meal, a kind word and a listening ear can make all the difference.

Myles spent time on The Salvation Army’s Bed & Bread truck, serving hot meals and sharing conversations with neighbors experiencing hunger and homelessness. As the truck made its stops, he greeted guests with warmth and compassion, reminding each person they were seen, valued and cared for.

That afternoon was one example of a commitment to service that extends beyond the football field. From providing clothing for youth and holiday gifts for families to mentoring teens and supporting women’s organizations, Myles has made giving back a hallmark of his career.
