Battle Creek’s Mini Golf for Good Raises more than $7,500

The Salvation Army in Battle Creek’s Mini golf for good on August 14, was a huge success, raising more than $7,500.

Participants of all ages took advantage of the sunny day, as they navigated their golf balls through a wagon wheel, water traps and even an outhouse. The event was held at Hit-em Here Golf Course in Battle Creek. The $10 admission fee included a round of golf and lunch.

A silent auction was also held during the event. Items included a hot air balloon ride which sold for $570 and a new ten-speed bike which was purchased for $125.

“We are so pleased,” said Corps officer Captain Mika Roinila. “Today’s success is a testament to the unwavering dedication and support of our board members, sponsors, golfers, and volunteers. Their collective effort truly made a difference!”
