The Salvation Army Logansport 360 Life Center is excited to announce a special match that will take place at all Red Kettles starting on Friday, December 19 and running through Christmas Eve, the final day of the annual Red Kettle Campaign. Thanks to the combined effort of an anonymous local donor and Cole Hardwood, up to $30,000 is available to be unlocked as part of the match challenge, but The Salvation Army will need the public's help to make the most of this incredible opportunity.

As part of the "$20 Bill Challenge", all $20 bills will be matched 5-to-1, turning a $20 donation into $100. All other donations, from $100 bills to pennies, will still be matched 1-to-1, doubling the impact of even the humblest of gifts.

The Salvation Army has responded to the increased needs of Cass County residents in recent years, providing a daily feeding program that ensures those facing food insecurity can still get regular, home-cooked meals. The funds raised by Red Kettles each fall help to ensure that The Salvation Army can continue to meet the needs of struggling residents while providing regular programming and services to people of all ages in the community.

"I would like to thank our partners from Cole Hardwood for their support of a $5,000 matching gift, and to our anonymous donor who gave $25,000 for this community challenge," shared Major Marlys Anderson of The Salvation Army Logansport Corps. "These donors are helping us meet the needs of our community in Cass County. With their donations, every $20 bill will turn into $100, and all other dollar increments will be matched dollar for dollar. This will be a huge incentive for others to give which will help us make the lives of those we serve a little brighter during this holiday season. Thank you so much to everyone at Cole Hardwood and to our anonymous donor for your love and compassion for others."

colehardwood.pngThe commitment and support of local businesses like Cole Hardwood help The Salvation Army provide vital ministries to the community. This has been a challenging year for many Hoosiers, but the generosity of supporters like Cole Hardwood can inspire people to give more when they hear a bell ringing and see a volunteer faithfully standing by a Red Kettle.

Shoppers looking for a Red Kettle on these final shopping days before Christmas will find bell ringers at Walmart, Martin's, and D&R Market. There are still 2-hours shifts available at these locations during the match period of December 19-24. The public is invited to visit RegisterToRing.com to sign up and ensure that kettles can be at every locations during this critical fundraising week.

Every donation given to The Salvation Army through the annual Red Kettle Campaign provides help and hope to those in need, and all gifts stay right here in the community where it is given. Visit SALogansport.org to learn more about how you can help The Salvation Army spread joy across the Cass County community in 2026.
