Postal Food Drive

In addition to food donations from private individuals, businesses, and schools, each year in May, The Royal Oak Salvation Army receives a tremendous amount of food from the Letter Carrier’s Food Drive held in conjunction with the local United States Postal Service offices. These donations provide the Royal Oak Salvation Army food pantry with many staples that are needed throughout the year to serve incoming clients and help keep our pantry shelves stocked for most of the year. The Royal Oak Salvation Army is truly blessed by this food drive each year, and in turn, we can feed those in need within our community.

Pathway of Hope

If you feel like your family is struggling or like you are stuck and cannot seem to move forward, the Pathway of Hope may prove to be a good first step towards a brighter future for you and your children. Eligible families must simply have children under the age of 18 and be ready and willing to take action to change their circumstances. Upon enrollment, the Royal Oak Salvation Army team will work alongside you and your family to not only assess your family’s needs and connect you to needed resources in the community but also help you set goals and map out a plan to stay on track and to achieve those goals. Our team will encourage you throughout your journey and celebrate your successes along with you until you are ready to step out into a better future for yourself and your family.

Financial Assistance

The intent of financial assistance at the Royal Oak Salvation Army is to aid clients’ present emergency and empower the client to take all necessary steps to prevent the need for financial assistance in the future. Salvation Army financial assistance is not intended to be a supplemental income within the client’s yearly budget.
