How We Help Cure Hunger

Our feeding programs serve the Huron community each and every day of the week. 

 

Genesis Noon Feeding Program

  • Genesis Noon Feeding Program schedule:  Monday through Friday from 11:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
  • Genesis Noon Feeding Program summary:  We serve a nutritious, satisfying lunch five days a week to anyone in need who walks through our doors, offering not only physical sustenance but a warm, inviting environment where people can find companionship and community.
  • Genesis Noon Feeding Program population served:  Each week, more than 200 individuals are fed through this program.

 

Weekend Sack Lunches

  • Weekend Sack Lunches schedule:  pick-up on Fridays
  • Weekend Sack Lunches program summary:  We provide sack lunches, available for pick-up on Fridays, to sustain anyone who needs food over the weekend. More than 300 meals are distributed each month.

 

Food Pantry

  • Food Pantry hours:  Monday through Thursday from 1 - 3 p.m. and Wednesday from 4 - 6 p.m.
  • Food Pantry program summary:  Our pantry offers canned and packaged staples to help individuals and families make ends meet.
