2025 Annual Report
“For you shall go out in joy and be led forth in peace; the mountains and the hills before you shall break forth into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands.”
- Isaiah 55:12
Dear Friends,
These words from the prophet Isaiah capture the heart of what we witness every day in The Salvation Army’s ministry. When a family finds shelter from the storm, when a disaster survivor finds hope, when a child receives a warm meal, we witness the joy Isaiah described.
This past year, your generosity has enabled us to go out in joy and serve. You have helped us lead people forth in peace, offering material assistance wrapped in dignity, hope, and compassion. Your support has transformed despair into joy, filling empty hands and inspiring hope.
As we reflect on another year of service, our hearts overflow with gratitude for your faithful support. Together, we continue to be instruments of God’s peace and bearers of His joy to a world that desperately needs both.
With deepest gratitude and blessings,
Majors Darrell and Debbie Kingsbury

LifNAV
The vision of LIFNAV is that socially displaced individuals may experience the fullness of life through transformational relationships with self, others, God, and all creation.
LIFNAV, a program overlay, extends our current strengths through behaviorally informed system improvements. Starting with the question, “How may we help you?” LIFNAV resources each individual’s quality of life goals.
LIFNAV reduces the experience of homelessness and maximizes investments that save lives. The experience also ministers to the servants. This is a sanctified hands approach to creating sanctified hearts for sanctified lives.
This plan of action is specific, measurable, realistic, time-limited, and will allow iterative improvements for the growth of sustainable social solutions.
Engage: provide basic resources like food, supplies, and if possible, emergency shelter options to build relationships of trust and belonging;
Empower: design their personal story to achieve their quality of life through guided journaling sessions. This allows participants to reflect on their past experiences, determine what their preferred life would look like, and then help them set smart plans of action to reach their goals.
Equip: provide tools and resources needed to put their plan into action.

About The Salvation Army
The Salvation Army, an evangelical part of the Universal Christian church established in London in 1865, has been supporting those in need in His name without discrimination for 130 years in the United States. Nearly 30 million Americans receive assistance from The Salvation Army each year through the broadest array of social services that range from providing food for the hungry, relief for disaster victims, assistance for the disabled, outreach to the elderly and ill, clothing and shelter to the homeless, and opportunities for underprivileged children. 82 cents of every dollar The Salvation Army spends is used to support those services in 5,000 communities nationwide.
