Youth Services at York Corps
The Salvation Army York is committed to empowering young people and providing them with opportunities to thrive. We offer a variety of activities and services designed to inspire, educate, and support kids. Our dedicated staff are committed to creating a safe and positive environment where kids can learn, grow, and develop important life skills.

Our After-School Program provides an opportunity for children to engage in crafts, table games, life skill training, group activities, organized sports, and peer mentoring. Children in the after-school program can receive tutoring in the Learning Center.

Our Learning Center provides homework assistance and tutoring for children participating in our After-School Program and Summer Day Camp. The Learning Center is the home of our STEAM program, educating children in Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math. This program is offered to children ages 6 to 10.

Our Summer Day Camp is six weeks of summer fun that includes breakfast and lunch. There are sessions that include devotion. Children ages 6 to 12 will experience swimming, roller skating and meeting new friends.
Each year, we enable thousands of children from low-income families to enjoy fresh air, exercise and new friendships through our annual summer camp programs.
