The holidays can bring added financial and emotional stress to families and individuals living in poverty. The Salvation Army Pottsville aims to bring joy back to the season in the following ways:
- Red Kettles: The Annual Red Kettle is our biggest fundraising event. This program represents the community spirit of giving at its best— through the funds that are raised and the hundreds of volunteers who make this effort possible. We are always seeking volunteers and groups to ring bells at our iconic red kettles. Sign up to ring the bell today.
- Toys for Tots: Every child deserves to experience the joy of Christmas morning. The Salvation Army Toys for Tots program helps provide Christmas gifts for hundreds of children in our community. Available for children 12 and under.
- Holiday Meals: The Salvation Army helps bring people together for the holidays by providing everything needed for a traditional Thanksgiving or Christmas dinner.
