Levittown Corps Youth Services Information

Youth Services at Levittown Corps

The Salvation Army of Levittown is a corps/church operated program. We are privileged to be able to serve families with Before and After school care at reasonable rates. We are an independent program and are not eligible for subsidized funds. Our programs aim to ensure each child is provided with a safe, nurturing, and fun environment. Our goal is to offer what we do in and through the love of Christ, as our Mission Statement reminds us.

We currently offer transportation to and from specific elementary schools in Pennsbury and Bristol Township, Brookwood, Millcreek, Manor, Penn Valley, Walt Disney, and Montessori Charter School.

Our program capacity is 25 children, which we believe ensures each child gets the attention needed.

Program Schedule

Location: Levittown Corps

Morning Session

7:00 am – 8:15 am: Light breakfast options with whole fruit, cereal, breakfast bars, drinks.

All groups remain in the main area until 8 am – these activities include, breakfast, imaginative play, various free play arts and crafts (drawing, bracelets, paper crafts, etc.), a large selection of games, action hero toys, a corner of dolls with supplies, fully supplied barbie house, and a book nook for those who want to sit and read. On most days at 8 am, we open the second room with various building toys, air hockey, and pool table.

Afternoon Session

Children have just had a full day of school, we think it’s important to let them unwind from the day and encourage free play first.

4:15 pm: light snack and drink

Children who have homework will complete required homework unless parents request otherwise.  Parents must understand children may not complete their entire day of homework if parents arrive early.  Children who do not have homework will be encouraged to choose a book and read for 15 minutes.

Our afternoon activities include both rooms with all activities noted in the morning session.  In addition, whenever weather allows we will do outside playground play, gym time when we are not able to be in the playground, E rated video games on timed play.  Throughout the week we will also do group activities such as full group games either in the classroom or in the gym, crafts and weekly bible story time.

The Salvation Army of Levittown Corps offers two youth sports programs. Our goal in sports is not competitive but to encourage good sportsmanship, active play and rules of the game to improve their performance and to simply have fun.  Winter Basketball for ages  5 – 12 takes place in January/February each year.  A six-week program held on Saturdays with 30 minutes of teaching followed by 30 minutes of game.  Basketball fees are $50, children must register, grants are generally available for those in need, please ask.

New for 2026 our Fall Kickball league for ages 7 – 10 will be four weeks beginning Saturday, September 26.  Registration is required, this fee will be $35, grants available for those in need.
