Holiday Giving

Offering assistance during the holiday season through our Angel Tree gift program and holiday meal program.

Levittown Corps Holiday Giving Information

The holidays can bring added financial and emotional stress to families and individuals living in poverty. The Salvation Army Levittown aims to bring joy back to the season in the following ways:

  • Red Kettles: The Annual Red Kettle is our biggest fundraising event. This program represents the community spirit of giving at its best— through the funds that are raised and the hundreds of volunteers who make this effort possible. We are always seeking volunteers and groups to ring bells at our iconic red kettles. Sign up to ring the bell today.

  • Angel Tree: The Salvation Army's Angel Tree program provides new clothing and/or toys for families in need. Each Angel Tree is decorated with angel tags with the first name, age, and gender of a child who is in need of a gift. Contributors remove one or more tags from the tree and purchase appropriate gifts for the child or children described on the tags. Families can apply for assistance during the fall.

  • Holiday Meals: We offer an in-person sit down Thanksgiving Meal every year. This is held the Tuesday of Thanksgiving week from 5 – 7 pm, open to anyone in need or who wants to be with others during the holiday. A feast to be enjoyed by all! At Christmas we provide resources for a Christmas meal together for families who receive assistance through our Angel Tree program.

Need knows no season

Need knows no season

While Christmas may be the season to shower those we love with gifts, financial instability is not limited to the holidays. Your gift supports families in need year-round, sustaining our programs well beyond Christmas. To make an even greater impact, consider making a monthly donation.
