Holiday Giving Information
Christmas Assistance
The Salvation Army Harrisburg will be accepting Family Christmas Assistance appointments starting September 14 for eligible households in Dauphin and Eastern Cumberland Counties. Appointments are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
For Families with Children
Each child age 0-18 will receive:
- Toys, books, or other age appropriate gifts
- A clothing Item, blanket or winter coat
- Teens will also receive a voucher for shoes
Each family will also receive a food voucher for a portion of their holiday meal.
Eligibility for Households
Families whose pre-tax income is at or below 185% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines are eligible.
