Emergency Social Services at Coatesville Corps

The Salvation Army of Coatesville provides emergency assistance to families and individuals who are facing a financial crisis. Emergency assistance may include, but is not limited to, essential needs such as food, utility, rent, prescription, clothing, and furniture assistance. We aim to bring families out of crisis and put them on a path to stability.

Assists with critical needs such as utilities, rent, prescriptions, clothing, and furniture. Proof of documentation and an interview is required to qualify for these services.

Our food pantry distributes emergency food bags containing a three to five day supply of non-perishable food to between 50 and 75 families per week. Single individuals receive $75 worth of food and a family of four receives $150 worth of food. Families have access to food pantry boxes every 60 days.
