Youth Services at Chambersburg Corps
The Salvation Army is committed to empowering young people and providing them with opportunities to thrive. Our local youth programs offer a variety of activities and services designed to inspire, educate, and support young people.
Our dedicated local staff and volunteers are committed to creating a safe and positive environment where young people can learn, grow, and develop important life skills. Through mentoring, tutoring, summer camp, music programs, and recreational activities, we strive to help young people in our area reach their full potential.

Students will have the opportunity to learn and play a musical instrument in our Youth Band on Mondays at 4:15 PM.

All kids ages 5 to 12 are welcome to a night full of Games, Crafts and most importantly, GOD! Dinner is provided and transportation can be arranged! Club 316 is held on Mondays from 5:00 - 7:00 PM.

In partnership with Sellers Funeral Home, coats are collected from October to November to distribute to children in need.

A night full of recognizing our talents as an act of worship to God! We offer voice, acting and dance on these nights. A meal is served, and transportation can be arranged. Music & Arts Nights occur on Wednesdays from 5:00 - 7:00 PM.

- Back to School Block Party
- A full day of fun for the whole family! We take the whole block and fill it with inflatables, food, and fun!
- Fall Festival
- A Fall-themed festival for the whole family,
- Easter Egg-stravaganza
- Enjoy free activities and food for the whole family, while bidding on your favorite purses & baskets to take home. Money raised supports the ongoing Women’s Ministries programs.

Campers aged 7–17 (depending on the session) attend a week-long stay at The Salvation Army’s summer sleepaway camp in the Pocono Mountains. Kids who attend will participate in nature study, swimming, boating, arts & crafts, music instruction, archery, hiking, organized games, ropes challenge courses, and more.
