The Salvation Army's Family Services encompass a range of programs to help individuals and families overcome daunting obstacles. We are committed to serve the whole person, mind, body, and spirit with integrity and respect, using creative solutions to positively transform lives.
We strive to empower people and to enable those in need to change their circumstances and overcome the challenges that stand in their way.
All intake is currently being conducted over the phone. Please call 717-249-1411 to speak to a staff member. If you do not have a phone, please visit our Social Services Office during hours of operation to meet with a staff member in person, or submit an online contact form.

Thrift store vouchers are redeemable at The Salvation Army Thrift Store in Carlisle, PA. They can be used for clothing or household goods available in our store.

The Social Services Office is vital to our ministry in Carlisle. Our services include transportation assistance, personal hygiene assistance, Christmas assistance, a choice food pantry, a shower program, and more.
