Post-Adoption Support
Foster Care and Adoption Post-Adoption Support Information
Families who welcome children from hard places into their hearts and homes may experience a need for post-adoption support services. We offer a variety of Post-Permanency Services through Pennsylvania's Statewide Adoption Network (SWAN). Our services are based on the trauma-informed principles of Trust-Based Relational Intervention® (TBRI®), an evidence-based practice developed at Texas Christian University to meet the unique needs of children in foster care or who have been adopted.
All families who reside in the state of Pennsylvania and have adopted a child privately, internationally, or from the foster care system, as well as legal custodians and kinship parents are eligible to receive post-permanency services at no cost to families.
