The best foster and adoptive parents are those who are knowledgeable and the best agencies are the ones who give their families tools, information, and direction to bolster and prepare them. Below are some resources you can access to help you on your foster care or adoption journey. If something you're interested in learning isn't listed here, please email us and let us know what questions you have.
Outside Training Opportunities
To receive training credit for a video, podcast, book read, etc. or to receive credit for an outside agency training that does not provide a training certificate, individuals must complete the Training Response Form. Please confirm with SACS staff that training meets topic and quality standards for credit before taking a training.
