The Salvation Army is committed to empowering young people and providing them with opportunities to thrive. Our local youth programs offer a variety of activities and services designed to inspire, educate, and support young people.
We understand the challenges and opportunities facing young people in our community today. Our dedicated local staff and volunteers are committed to creating a safe and positive environment where young people can learn, grow, and develop important life skills. Through mentoring, tutoring, summer camp, music programs, and recreational activities, we strive to help young people in our area reach their full potential.

Our weekly youth night is free and open to ages 2 (if potty trained) to 18.
Typical Schedule
- 3:30 pm: Drop off time, you are welcome to drop off your kids late but please do not drop them off early. Snack is also offered during drop off time.
- 3:40 pm: Singing & Music Class4:05 pm: "Troops" Class.
- 5:00 pm: Dinner & Wind Down Time
- 6:00 pm: Pick Up
What are Troops Classes?
Troops are our Character Building Classes. Your kids will earn badges like in Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts with their fellow young people.
- Moonbeams: Preschool and Kindergarten
- Sunbeams: Girls, Grades 1 - 5
- Explorers: Boys, Grades 1 - 5
- Girl Guards, Grades 6 - 12
- Rangers, Grades 6 - 12

We invite our community to come together through games, snack (provided), and watching a movie. Movies are announced on our Facebook ahead of time and are always family friendly. Kids must be accompanied by their parents.
