The Salvation Army understands the impact of unexpected life changes that can affect household income and lead to housing instability. Maybe you lost your job. Maybe you're a senior living on a fixed income. Maybe you're living with a long-term disability. If so, we are here for you.Throughout the country, The Salvation Army's emergency assistance programs are helping families pay their bills so they can keep the power and water on, make rent or mortage payments, and access transportation when necessary. The Salvation Army connects people with the resources they need to help their families stay afloat.

- Must have current eviction notice(rent) or disconnect notice(utility) and current photo ID
- Eligible for rent/utility assistance minimum of 1 year after 1st service, 2 years after 2nd service, 3 years after 3rd service
- There is a maximum of how much assistance can be given per household per service
