The Salvation Army’s Services and Assistance Programs
At The Salvation Army, we are dedicated to meeting the practical and personal needs of our community. Through our services and assistance programs, we provide essential resources and support to help individuals and families overcome hardship and build stability.
Our programs include food pantry access, community resource assistance, donation drop-off opportunities, and facility rentals for community use. Each service is designed to strengthen lives, foster connection, and bring hope to those we serve.
How You Can Help
You can support our community services by:

We recognize the difficulty in finding the right support when life is the hardest. Whether experiencing financial problems, a need for a support group, issues with housing, struggles during the holidays, or many other needs, this location serves as a resource center to help provide support through the most difficult times. Even when we are unable to provide direct assistance, our staff are connected with other agencies within the community to help find the resources you might need.

We are unable to take large items but have four donation bins on the side of our building. Any donated items must fit inside the bins.
If you are in need of a receipt, you must come with the items during office hours.
For additional drop off times, please visit our main drop off location at The Salvation Army Thrift Store & Donation Center (2111 St Rt 35, Oakhurst, NJ).

Often, we are able to accommodate groups who are interested in utilizing our facility for events and group sports. We have a fellowship hall, tournament-sized gymnasium, and classrooms available for rental.
