How We Help Cure Hunger

Food Pantry
Our food pantry is open Tuesdays to Fridays noon to 3:30 p.m., with a produce and bread distribution Tuesdays and Fridays from 10-11 a.m. The pantry serves more than 8,000 individuals each year who are homeless, at risk of being homeless or low-income by providing a selection of nutritious food. Individuals and families are able to choose the foods most appropriate for their particular needs.

Winter Night Watch

Number Served: More than 9,900 meals served between November and February

Location: The mobile canteen is stationed at crosspoint on 13th and E street Saturdays 11:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.

Program Strengths: Winter Night Watch

targets Lincoln’s most

vulnerable population, the homeless and near-homeless, offering a warm meal and winter outerwear during the most challenging months of the year.   

Partnership Organizations: Lincoln Berean Church, Food Bank of Lincoln, St Marks, Fallbrook SuperSaver and many individuals who volunteer regularly

We Nourish Bodies and Spirits

We welcome anyone in need who walks through our doors, including the homeless, people down on their luck and in need of a little extra help, and families struggling to feed their growing children. Our food nourishes the bodies, and our compassion nourishes the spirits of those we serve.
