Nearly 20 percent of children in Dodge County are food insecure, meaning they might not know where their next meal will come from.

  

Hunger is all around us.

Hunger goes beyond the statistics. While the devastating impact of hunger isn't always obvious, the truth is, real people in the Fremont area are struggling with hunger or food insecurity. We work to ensure that children in our community do not go hungry.

 

Free summer lunch program for youth

Monday through Friday, 11:15 a.m. - 1 p.m. 
Summer is a particularly challenging time for children who normally rely on free or reduced-fee lunch programs during the school year. 

This is why our summer lunch program for children ages 1-18 is so critically important. Feeding kids a nutritious lunch five days a week all summer long helps families bridge the gap and ensures that kids get the nutrition they need to stay healthy and active.
