The Housing Crisis: Pathway to Success Program
An expansion of The Salvation Army Greensboro Crisis Assistance Program. It is a comprehensive collaborative project to assist households at or below the federal poverty guideline with flexible service delivery that fills gaps of services in the community’s response to Homelessness, Housing Instability, Poverty, Unemployment, Underemployment, Childcare, Transportation, Mental Health, and Substance Abuse for up to 2 years. The Salvation Army Greensboro and Chatham County goal is to eliminate barriers and reduce challenges associated with people in a housing crisis by operating a housing crisis center.
Participants who are experiencing a housing crisis can contact The Salvation Army of Chatham County to speak to a housing specialist to interview and determine the appropriate services needed based on each individual’s situation.
