Women's Auxiliary
The Salvation Army Women's Auxiliary

Our Purpose
The Salvation Army Women's Auxiliary functions as a fundraising and volunteer service group
in support of The Salvation Army's programs and activities in the community in cooperation with the Advisory Board.
Our Annual Fundraiser
Every February, we hold our Annual Fundraiser, Souper Bowl, at Central United Methodist Church in Concord. All funds raised directly benefit the programs of The Salvation Army of Cabarrus and Stanly Counties. Programs include nursing home visits, Angel Tree efforts, our community Food Pantry, support items for the shelter, and many others.

What We Do
Meetings
The Salvation Army Women’s Auxiliary has five general meetings each year on the 4th Tuesday of the month, starting at 10:00 am with social starting at 9:30. During the social time, we have some light food and beverages, time to chat with other members, and the opportunity to purchase gently used books and sometimes other items to contribute to our fundraising.
We have community speakers on a wide range of topics of interest to our members at our September, October, January, and March meetings. Our officers are elected at our March meeting, and our May meeting is reserved for thanking our previous officers and installing new officers.
