Dress-A-Child

For over 40 years, The Salvation Army has helped local children through its Dress-A-Child program. Parents of children entering Kindergarten through 6th grade can apply for assistance, allowing children to enjoy a fun shopping experience at Walmart during October and November to receive warm clothing for the winter season.

To date, more than 5,000 children have received clothing through the program.

Interested in Participating?

Applications for the Dress-A-Child program will become available in July.

Eligible families will need:

• A photo ID for the head of household
• Birth certificates for children entering Kindergarten–6th grade

Dress-A-Child is made possible through the generosity of individual donors, churches, clubs, businesses, and community organizations.

• $125 sponsors one child
• Donations should be received by September 30
