Brighten the Holidays

A Season of Hope: How Springfield Can Help This Christmas

The holidays bring added financial and emotional stress to families living in poverty. The Salvation Army brightens the holiday season for those in need through:

Red Kettles
Our iconic red kettles signal the start of the holiday season. Donations collected in the red kettles support year-round programs and services right here in the Springfield community. Bell ringers are crucial to the success of the red kettles. Volunteer to be a bell ringer today. To learn more, go to 417 RING FOR GOOD now.

It is a great holiday tradition for family, friends, church organizations, work groups, and more. You can join the Salvation Army of Springfield as a bell ringer from Nov. 7 to Dec. 23 by volunteering at one of our iconic red kettles.
