The St. Louis - Gateway Citadel Community Center has been serving South St. Louis County since 1971.  From a Thursday basketball league in its 48th year to a brand new before-school program, to Nerf nights and pickleball leagues -- we minister to all children and adults who come through our doors. 

We host recreational activities including fitness workouts, pickleball, basketball, volleyball, and shuffleboard. In addition, educational needs are met through our afterschool and day camp programs, and physical education classes for homeschooled youth. We also provide space rentals for special community events.

Community Center Director 

Cort Hubbard

Cort has worked in the Community Center since 1987 and has been the director since 2016. His passions include following Jesus, loving his wife, working with children, and sports.

"Ministry begins with a desire to serve Jesus in response to His great love for us," Cort said. "While the ultimate purpose of ministry is to help others to know Jesus, it begins with the small steps of creating programs that meet physical, social, and spiritual needs of others. Ministry cannot be done alone, and must include teamwork, relationship building, partnerships, and community involvement."
