Wednesday Evening Character Building

During the school year, The Salvation Army provides transportation to and from our Corps Community Center in Rochester, MN on Wednesday evenings. Our character building classes offer the opportunity for kids to develop strong communication and leadership skills, grow their minds, and explore God's Word, all while having fun and connecting with their peers.

Every Wednesday evening set of activities includes a meal and a snack, leadership and character building lessons, and a musical activity of their choice. Offerings range from brass instruments, to guitar, to percussion, to recorder and choir.

Programs are available for children elementary ages through mid-teens.

Music Lessons and Free Instrument Rentals

The Salvation Army also offers instrument rentals and music lessons free of charge for the students involved in our youth programs. Families will be informed of these options when registering to be a part of Salvation Army youth programs.
