Angel Tree Program

The Traverse City region has two main programs for toys or gifts for kids ages newborn to 17.  TOY SHOP is for kids up through age 12, and TEEN ANGEL is for youths ages 13 through 17. 

To sign up, go to the Angel Tree portal and enter your zip code.  Here is the link: https://saangeltree.org. Keep in mind that the portal is only open during a set registration time. 

It will give you various prompts to follow in order to complete the application process.  As part of the online application various documents must be uploaded.  Please make sure to follow these guidelines:

·      Verification of income for all over 18 living in the household (150% of poverty guideline)

·      Picture ID for Applicant (state, work or other) 

·      Proof of Current Address: For the head of household, we need a photo ID or a utility bill that has BOTH your name and current address on it together.

·      IDs for all Angels that include NAME and BIRTHDATE, like medical records, school records, immunization records or birth certificate.  Basic school IDs and social security cards do not have sufficient information on them. 

·      Please fill in the budget information.  Our program is required to verify income to be less than 150% of the poverty guideline. 

·      When filling out the Teen Angel application you will receive a link in your email to a google document that needs to be filled out for the 13 to 17 year old youths.  This page will be given to a sponsor who will shop specifically for your child according to the wish list provided in this link.
