The service and commitment of our volunteers enable The Petoskey, MI Corps to:

Prepare and serve food to hungry neighbors

Deliver meals and grocery items to the mobility impaired 

Share God's love with lonely seniors living in local care facilities

Provide assistance in times of emergency or disaster

Ring bells to provide essential year round utility needs

Operate a Family Thrift Store to provide low-cost options for quality clothing, household goods and furniture while supporting year-round programs and services offered through our community center

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNTIES

  • Community Center
    • Cleaners: Sweep/mop/clean community room and restrooms
  • Emergency Disaster Services (EDS)
    • On call emergency drivers and assistants to deliver and distribute food and supplies to First Responders and survivors
  • Holiday and Event Assistants
    • Red Kettle: Bell ringers and drivers
    • Toy Shop set-up, shopping assistants, restocking and clean up
    • Parade: drivers and participants
    • Special Events: set-up and clean up
  • Food Programs
    • Pantry: coordinator
    • Community Meals: prep, delivery drivers and assistants, meal clean up
  • Ministries
    • Senior Life: visits to local care facilities, Bingo set up and clean up
    • Courageous Kids: assistants, chaperones
  • Thrift Store
    • Donation intake, delivery assistants, bulk movers, sorters and stockers
