Winter Gear Can Make a Big Difference
We provide Coats for Kids and Adults every year throughout the fall and winter. We provide new coats, hats, mittens, gloves, and other winter materials. We run our Coats for Kids drive during the fall, raising coats at local businesses throughout Shiawassee County. Then we give out these supplies to those in need throughout the community.
Our Coats Pantry is open from Nov 15 through March 30th every year.
Requirements for the program include:
- Valid ID or Passport
- Proof of residence in Shiawassee County
- Birth certificates/SS cards/Identification for children in the family

How to Donate Coats & Winter Gear
Each year, during October, we hold a "Coats for Kids Drive" throughout Shiawassee County. There are many drop sites available in the area. Otherwise, you can donate your new coats, hats, mittens, gloves, and other winter gear at our office at 302 E. Exchange St., Owosso Mi 48867.
